This comprehensive video was produced in 2020 and released in both French and English as an advocacy and educational video about the important role Community Health Centres (CHCs) play in Canada’s healthcare and social service systems.

CHCs provide a wide range of day-to-day health and social services within a single organization, all to meet the needs of individuals, families and groups within their local community. However, the availability of CHCs still varies greatly by province and town. It’s a major challenge for Canadians; one that federal, provincial and municipal governments across Canada must address together.

By promoting CHCs as an effective answer for delivering primary health care early on, we can help to reduce more costly medical intervention down the road. The time is now to take something great and make it even better. It’s time for Community Health Centres.
