Client: The Alliance for Healthier Communities

This is one of four award videos CineFocus produced in 2019 for the Transformative Change awards given out at the Alliance for Healthier Communities and the Canadian Association of Community Health Centre’s joint conference in Ottawa.

The video profiles an innovative program that addresses barriers to health faced by the LGBTQ+ community. It tells how this St. Catherines based community health centre was one of the first in Canada to recognize and step up to eliminate bias and educate other health professionals about the special needs of this particular community, thereby creating better health for all.
