Testimonial
At every stage of each project the CineFocus team delivered high value. In planning productions they brought great creative ideas to the table, when scripting our videos they delivered compelling text that touched peoples’ hearts as well as their minds, and in the edit suite high production values that always strengthened our message.
Nothing inspires confidence like a track record of success. That's how I feel about CineFocus Canada. I have been hiring them consistently since 1992 and have never been disappointed with my choice in video production. From the idea onward, Joan Prowse and the entire CineFocus Canada team has your back.
They chose to explore climate change and other environmental issues in an engaging and entertaining fashion: this approach garnered good audience numbers both on-line and on air for TVO and this led to our ongoing support for multiple seasons of the project.
Over the nine months I worked with Joan and John closely, they demonstrated foresight and integrity. They were dedicated and hardworking; even with extra-ordinary deadlines, they never missed one. Notably, they were very open to feedback, in fact, welcomed it; they engaged authentically in dialogue and also helped elevate the conversations around them.
CineFocus Canada spent over a year travelling to document me at tribute events, on a two week concert tour in Western Canada, at art gallery openings, teaching on reserves, and at my home in Hawaii and on the Piapot Reserve with my family. Whether Joan was backstage or in my family’s kitchen, as the director, she handled each situation with the utmost respect, sensitivity, and professionalism.
