CineFocus Canada is a Toronto based documentary production
company that specializes in television, video and cross-platform
productions. Our one-offs, series and interactive projects mix
entertainment with insight and focus on social issues, popular culture,
and biography programming.
CineFocus Canada Inc. has two sister companies. CineFocus
Canada Productions Inc. founded in 1998 and CineFocus Canada
Interactive Inc. created in 2003. To learn more about the

For 25 years, our company has produced broadcast documentary
programs dedicated to telling Canadian stories worldwide. These
documentaries have aired on numerous networks including CBC and
Radio-Canada, CHUM Television (now Bell Media), A&E, and the
Discovery Networks in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
Our recent credits include Green Heroes, Museum Maestros and
Buffy Sainte-Marie: A Multimedia Life. Our Visions from the
Wilderness: The Art of Paul Kane picked up a pair of international
awards and served as inspiration for the development of Paul Kane
Interactive, an interactive DVD and an exhibit at the Royal Ontario
Museum. Selected as one of six Canadian teams to participate in the
innovative Interactive Project Lab at Norman Jewison's Canadian
Film Centre, Paul Kane Interactive aims to transform the
documentary experience from passive to active involvement.
As well as documentary programming, CineFocus Canada has
produced over 50 videos for the non-profit sector and for federal and
provincial governments. These educational programs, training films,
promotional videos, and public service announcements cover a range
of topics including: cultural issues, environmental initiatives,
community health, social programs, international development, and
labour initiatives. Several of these programs have been produced in
both official languages.
